The Friendly Baker - cookery demonstration and book signing

At The Bookshop on the Green we LOVE baking and baked goods! But what do you bake for family and friends if lots of people have dietary restrictions?

Enter Lucy Parr, otherwise known as The Friendly Baker. Lucy whips up imaginative and delicious home baking where every single recipe is all plant-based and caters for all the allergy-free restrictions so that everyone feels included!

Lucy's recipes have arisen from baking for her children who have dietary requirements.

We are absolutely delighted that Lucy will be joining us for this evening of live cookery demonstration showing us how to bake a cake from her delicious collection of recipes. And, better still, we all get to sample the cake, a cookie and a savoury item! We promise chocolate will feature as, after all, this is Bournville, the home of chocolate!

As she demonstrates, Lucy will informally chat with the audience, answer any questions we may have and then afterwards Lucy will be happy to sign copies of her book.
